Dr Ümit YAPICI (Ophthalmic Surgeon)

Education:

Dr Ümit Yapıcı completed his medical education at Mustafa Kemal University Faculty of Medicine in 2019. In 2024, he completed his specialist training at the Ophthalmology Clinic of the University of Health Sciences Adana City Training and Research Hospital and qualified as an ophthalmologist.

He began his compulsory service at Tarsus State Hospital in 2024. During this period, he worked extensively in complex cataract surgery, eyelid aesthetics, oculoplastic surgery and tear duct surgery.

Throughout his career, he has performed thousands of successful cataract operations and numerous eyelid and lacrimal system procedures. A successful surgical intervention he performed in 2025 received widespread coverage in the national press.

Dr Ümit YAPICI closely follows current scientific developments and modern surgical techniques, aiming to provide reliable, meticulous and patient-centred care.

He currently sees patients at Mersin Vizyon Eye Hospital.
